About the Program 

Are you curious about how public policies and laws affect society, from 经济学 to environmental issues, to criminal justice? Are you interested in working in law enforcement or in the legal system? This could include victim advocacy to family law, to the rights of the accused. This Associate in 艺术 in Law, Public Policy, and 社会 for Transfer (AA-T) Degree includes courses in administration of justice, 经济学, 历史, 哲学, political science, 心理学, 社会学, 和更多的. This coursework emphasizes the development of communication skills, will introduces you to the legal field, and prepares you for further study in a variety of majors.

Whether you are thinking between law or policy, or work that intersects the two, there are many different jobs that can be found in these areas at all levels of government as well as in the public or non-profit sector. Some examples of the types of jobs are lobbyist, policy analysts, public policy manager, attorney at a nonprofit, 国会, public policy advocacy, law enforcement, law or court clerk, 律师助理, legal aid worker, social worker, advocacy 和更多的.
